Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can I improve the general quality of my photos?

A: There is no simple answer for this, as there are multiple factors that contribute to a good photo. But a great place to start is to get as much natural light evenly on the machine. With this we mean your factory lights, not the flash on your camera. Spread that light with white reflectors.

Q: Why is it so important to have a big original?

A: First, to be able to edit a photo, using a large original allows us to be more accurate with the editing tools. Second, downsizing is a natural process and nothing is lost. Going the opposite way results in loss of quality.

Q: Do I need to do something special to my webphotos?

A: Have you ever gone onto a site where it takes forever for the page to load? Likely the reason is that a file is larger then it needs to be, and often photos are the culprit. A decent size photo for the web is minuscule in size compared to your print photo.

Q: You are too far away for us, how could you help us?

A: Where we might not be able to shoot photos in person, we can be your contact to help you with the originals, at no charge. Sending files for finishing up and down with today’s technology is simple and efficient.

Q: What does it cost for you to shoot photos?

A: We have very reasonable rates, if you want the very best give us a call for pricing on your particular project.
